Belinda Labatte, CFA, MBA, ICD.D, has more than 15 years of senior management experience in mining and the extractive industry, and 20 years of capital markets experience, including a decade of strategic development, capital markets investment banking experience, stakeholder engagement, and asset acquisition and disposition processes. Her most recent position was Chief Development Officer of Mandalay Resources Corp. Prior to that, Ms. Labatte was the founder and President of her own Company, The Capital Lab Inc., a leading Toronto-based consulting firm. Ms. Labatte is fluent in French, Spanish and German and graduated from the Rotman School of Management with an MBA. She holds the ICD.D designation and is CFA charterholder. Ms. Labatte serves as independent director of Star Royalties Ltd.
Richard Wells is Partner at Kinterra Capital and a member of the Investment Committee and Valuation Committee.
Prior to Kinterra, Mr. Wells was a Partner at Waterton Global and served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2010. He was responsible for all financial aspects of Waterton’s corporate office and operating subsidiaries including accounting, reporting, taxation, investor relations and administrative matters. As part of his role at Waterton, he served on the Investment Committee, Valuation Committee and as the Audit Committee Chair for publicly listed mining companies in the Waterton investment portfolio.
Mr. Wells is a Chartered Professional Accountant, having been awarded the designation in Ontario, Canada in 2003 and placing on the Provincial Honour Roll

Milla is a board member of the Responsible Investment Association (RIA) and is the Chair of its Nomination Committee. She is Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Finance and Sustainability Initiative of Finance Montréal. She obtained her Six Sigma certification and a certificate in Business Optimization from the University of Melbourne in Australia. She also served as a board member of the Québec Mining Association in 2018 and 2019, and currently serves on the NYSE Board of Directors as a non-executive director.
